Aqua Meter Moisture Sensor Refill Sticks

Product Description

This set includes 2 replacement insert sticks for medium-sized Sustee watering sticks. The main body of the replacement stick is made of polycarbonate, while the refill is crafted from nonwoven fabric treated with preservatives. It is recommended to replace the stick every 6 to 9 months. Each individual stick measures 0.4 x 0.3 x 7.1" (medium) and is proudly made in Japan. Please note that this package only includes replacement inserts and does not come with the Sustee Moisture Stick.

Meet Sustee

Sustee is a modern Japanese soil moisture sensor that features a sleek design. The blue color indicates that the soil has enough water, while the white color means that the plant needs watering. Sustee's minimalistic aesthetic complements the beauty of your plants.

Sustee Color

If your Sustee turns white, it's time to water your plant. After watering, the white insert will change to a blue color to indicate that the soil has enough moisture.

Soil Compatibility

Sustee can be used with a variety of plants that require specific levels of moisture retention in their soil, including akadama soil, black earth, bark, coco peat, peat moss, and vermiculite.

Insertion Depth

When inserting Sustee, ensure that the Ω mark on the stick is fully covered. If the stick needs to be inserted deeper, make sure that the transpiration opening is visible.

Watering Time

The time it takes for the color to change depends on the amount of water given and the soil's water retention level. When using Sustee for the first time, generously water your plant. The small stick changes color in approximately 3 minutes, the medium in 15 minutes, and the large in 25 minutes.

Easy to replace core refills - simply twist off the cap, remove the used core, insert the new core, and replace the cap. The core displays a blue color when the plant has enough water and fades to white when it's time to water. This package includes 2 replacement sticks for use with a medium refillable Sustee Aqua meter. Replace the core every 6-9 months for optimal results. The award-winning product design is accompanied by English language packaging.
