Infused with binchotan (Japanese oak) charcoal, these dishcloths are designed with 6 layers of material for enhanced absorbency and durability. During production, a temporary starch coating is applied to prevent any shifting of the multiple layers of material. As a result, the dishcloths may feel a bit stiff or crisp initially, but they will gradually soften with use. To speed up the softening process, simply soak them in boiling water a few times. While the dishcloths are washing machine-safe, please avoid using bleach or putting them in the dryer as the color may fade slightly and the dishcloth may shrink by about 10 to 15% after the first wash. Made of 82% rayon and 18% cotton, each pack includes one dishcloth with one side in charcoal gray and the other side in purple.
