Japanese Binchotan Charcoal Water Purifying Sticks - 4 Pack, Filters 8 Liters

Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is considered the highest grade of charcoal, sourced from the Kishu region of Japan. This centuries-old natural purification method effectively reduces water hardness, absorbs odors, and filters water for a great-tasting experience. The filtering process typically takes around 3-4 hours.

Each package contains 4 binchotan charcoal sticks, with each stick measuring approximately 0.8" to 1" in diameter and 4" in length. For optimal results, it is recommended to use 1 stick for every 2 liters of water.

To reactivate the charcoal, simply boil the sticks for 10 minutes every two weeks and allow them to dry thoroughly before reuse. It is important to note that this product should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
