• 6 sticks of binchotan charcoal included per package. Average size of each stick is approximately 0.5" in diameter and 4" in length. Individual size may vary as this is a natural product.
• Slim binchotan charcoals are rare, and these have been specifically selected to fit through the mouth of personal water bottles. Use 1 stick for a personal water bottle, or use 2 sticks for a carafe. 1 stick can filter up to 750 ml (25.4 oz) of water. Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry.
• Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Kishu region of Japan.
• Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
• The exceptional qualities of nature aid in reducing odor and hardness in water, improving the taste of drinking water through filtration. The filtration process takes about 3 to 4 hours.
